Lionel Messi had a proud father second as he watched his sons, Thiago and Ciro, rejoice main wins with Inter Miami’s academy groups through the prestigious 2025 Desires Cup in South Florida.
The legendary Argentine ahead attended the youth match – held over Memorial Day weekend – which brings collectively among the high rising abilities from throughout the US and world wide.
Messi, accompanied by his spouse Antonela Roccuzzo, appeared on proudly as Thiago, 12, and Ciro, 7, lifted trophies with their respective groups.
Images circulating on-line captured the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner visibly thrilled, as his sons proceed to take early steps on a path that mirrors his iconic soccer legacy.
The boys themselves had been, understandably, thrilled too.
In a joyful Instagram reel posted by Inter Miami’s academy, Thiago is seen leaping up and down along with his Below-13 teammates, chanting: “Campeones, Campeones, Ole, Ole, Ole!” In the meantime, Ciro shared in related pleasure, proudly lifting his trophy with a teammate and flashing an enormous smile.
This isn’t the primary time Messi’s youngsters have tasted success on the pitch. Again in February 2025, Thiago, Ciro, and their center brother Mateo, 9, all received trophies through the Weston Cup, one other main youth match held in Florida.
Clearly, greatness runs within the Messi household.
