A gaggle of over 40 WNBA gamers attended Thursday’s assembly between the league and the WNBPA as a part of collective bargaining negotiations.
The assembly members ranged from union management in Nneka Ogwumike, Breanna Stewart, and Kelsey Plum to younger stars like Caitlin Clark, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers.

With the present CBA expiring after this season, negotiations had stalled over wage will increase and income sharing.
Income sharing was particularly a key hangup within the discussions, with gamers pissed off that the WNBA’s present proposal would restrict their skill to develop together with the league.
“I don’t know that I’m going to say progress,” Jackson stated about income sharing. “However we had spirited conversations.”
