UCF offensive line coach Shawn Clark died on Sunday evening on the age of fifty.
The college stated he handed unexpectedly at an Orlando hospital together with his spouse, Jonelle, by his facet.
Clark, who was in his first season with the Knights, had been in secure situation since being admitted Sept. 9 following a medical emergency.
“Shawn was a lot greater than a coach. Clark was the top coach at alma mater Appalachian State for 5 seasons from 2019-24, ending 40-24 with a 3-1 bowl report.

Clark, a West Virginia native, held teaching positions at Louisville, Jap Kentucky, Purdue and Kent State earlier than becoming a member of the workers at Appalachian State in 2016.
Appalachian State fired Clark final December following a 5-6 season, the Mountaineers’ first dropping season since 2013.
Clark was a two-time All-American and three-time all-conference choice as an offensive lineman at Appalachian State from 1994-98.
