Kevon Looney has been identified with a proximal tibiofibular ligament sprain in his left knee. Looney can be re-evaluated in 2-3 weeks and additional updates can be offered as acceptable.
The damage occurred through the New Orleans Pelicans’ preseason sport in opposition to the South East Melbourne Phoenix on Oct. 5.
Looney signed a two-year, $16 million contract with the Pelicans through the offseason.
