Ending within the prime 10 of Formulation 2’s driver championship could be a suitable efficiency from Colton Herta in 2026, based on Cadillac Formulation 1 crew CEO Dan Towriss.
Herta has joined F1’s latest crew as a check driver, with a possible race seat inside attain sooner or later.

“If the objective is not to win, then I do not actually see why you’d do it – in order that’s my mindset. Both how unrealistic it’s or how lifelike it’s, I do not know. I suppose time must inform.
“However every part that I do in motorsport, I attempt to do 100%. And should you go into the mindset of ‘Oh, nicely, let’s attempt to work off and begin inside the highest 15 after which transfer ahead from there’, I simply do not assume it is the fitting method.
“For me, I need to be as fast as potential. I need to lead periods, I need to win races. However I suppose time will inform how troublesome that’s.”
