Within the first week of April, IndyCar driver Will Energy’s father, Bob Energy, was approached by an armed gunman who tried to steal his car as a part of a multi-day crime spree. After briefly wrestling with the person, legislation enforcement arrived on the scene and apprehended the suspect.
Energy was unhurt within the encounter. On Friday, forward of the Lengthy Seashore IndyCar race weekend, Will spoke concerning the incident and the way he discovered.

Will commented that his father wasn’t actually fazed by any of it, later saying it “would not even register now.”
