Full IndyCar championship standings after 2026 Indy GP



A fifth-place end was sufficient for Alex Palou to increase his championship lead, now 27 factors away from Kyle Kirkwood. 

A Lap 1 crash from the skin of the entrance row proved pricey for Pato O’Ward, who fell from fourth to seventh within the standings. 

Christian Lundgaard’s victory bumped him from fifth as much as fourth within the standings, carving 20 factors out of his deficit to Palou. 

One other notable mover was Marcus Armstrong, who climbed again into the highest ten after getting into the race thirteenth within the championship, leaping three positions.
