The Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday designated right-hander Jose Urena for project.

The 33-year-old has appeared in 239 MLB video games in his profession. In 2024, he went 5-8 with a 3.80 ERA in 33 outings for the Texas Rangers.

Urena signed a minor league cope with the New York Mets throughout the offseason. On April 28, he made his season debut, permitting 5 earned runs in three innings of aid in opposition to the Washington Nationals.
