Former United midfielder Quinton Fortune was stuffed with reward for Matheus whereas talking on MUTV’s Matchday Evaluation programme.
Fortune, who performed 126 video games for the Reds between 1999 and 2006, was impressed by Cunha’s velocity and energy, and hopes to see him proceed to impart his qualities on the video games to return.
“He scored an incredible aim within the first half, which was sadly offside,” Quinton started, sat within the MUTV studio at Outdated Trafford alongside one other former Purple, in defender Phil Bardsley.
“If something was going to occur, it was by him. He’s obtained the change of tempo, you noticed the run he made within the second half down the left-hand facet, when he confirmed the energy.
“He’s obtained that in his locker; we simply need him to do it extra. He’s a particular participant.”
