NASCAR Driver Advisory Council reorganized for 2026 season



Longtime NASCAR government, and previously Daytona Worldwide Speedway president, Chip Wile is taking on as Drivers’ Advisory Council government director.

Wile assumes the place beforehand held by Cup Collection veteran Jeff Burton, who’s remaining with the group as an advisor.  From the press launch asserting the organizational construction for 2026, ‘the transfer is a part of a broader effort to reinforce alignment between drivers, NASCAR governance, and racing groups throughout a significant guidelines cycle.’
