Manchester United defender Harry Maguire has despatched a message by way of social media after being omitted of the membership’s pre-season travelling squad to the USA.

Earlier right this moment, United introduced a 32-man travelling squad for the American arm of their pre-season marketing campaign.
Past the ‘exiled 5’ of Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony, Tyrell Malacia, and Alejandro Garnacho, it was Maguire’s absence from the checklist that actually stood out.
Maguire featured in United’s goalless draw with Leeds in Stockholm, Sweden on the weekend. He was introduced on at half-time however was withdrawn within the 74th minute of proceedings.
It’s understood that this was a deliberate substitution.
United confirmed that Maguire was not named within the US pre-season tour squad due to private causes.
Now, Maguire has come out and said that the whole lot is ok and he’s set to hyperlink up along with his teammates.
Maguire fires message
The England worldwide wrote on Instagram, “All is ok now. I might be travelling tomorrow to fulfill up with the squad.”
He added, “Thanks on your concern.”
Though Maguire has insisted that the whole lot is now good, it stays unusual why he was omitted of the squad, notably if the membership knew he’d be flying out to the US only a day later.
United kick off their Premier League Summer time Sequence marketing campaign on 26 July towards West Ham on the MetLife Stadium, which hosted the latest Membership World Cup remaining.
The Crimson Devils will then come up towards Andoni Iraola’s Bournemouth in Chicago on 30 July earlier than wrapping issues up with a conflict towards Everton in Atlanta on 3 August.
