The Texas Rangers positioned first baseman Jake Burger on the 10-day injured record on Saturday due to a left indirect pressure.
In a corresponding transfer, the Rangers recalled rookie first baseman Justin Foscue from Triple-A Spherical Rock.
Burger, 29, felt tightness on his left aspect on a swinging strikeout within the seventh inning of the Rangers’ 6-2 win in Pittsburgh on Friday night time.
