Rainbow flags, music and cheers crammed downtown Guerneville on Saturday because the Russian River Pleasure Parade marched down Important Road. The noon celebration — led by Grand Marshal Larry Boeger, longtime group advocate and former Timberline proprietor — introduced collectively floats, performers and native organizations in a present of help for the area’s LGBTQ+ group. Hundreds lined the road to soak up the colour and vitality, with the parade kicking off a competition that featured drag reveals, DJs and stay music.
