“I seemed on the worldwide fixtures for the season and initially, again in February, 18 November was down as a global date,” Sir Alex defined.
“My son went for that date for his wedding ceremony, just for the fixtures to be modified. We discovered that, as an alternative of getting a free weekend, we’re enjoying Manchester Metropolis – it could not have been any worse for me.
“The marriage is in Cape City so there’s nothing I can do. The one comfort is that, with it being a morning kick-off, I will watch the sport in South Africa on tv.”
