5-star ahead Oliviyah Edwards of Washington dedicated to South Carolina’s 2026 recruiting class on Thursday.
The 6-foot-3 Edwards reopened her recruitment earlier this month after initially signing with Tennessee in November.
The No. 5-ranked prospect by the 247Sports composite joins Gamecocks coach Daybreak Staley’s No. 2-ranked incoming class.
“I selected South Carolina as a result of it felt like residence,” Edwards advised ESPN. “Coach Staley, the employees and the workforce confirmed me a degree of affection and perception that stood out. I do know I will be pushed each single day, and being surrounded by that type of vitality and assist means the whole lot to me.”
The McDonald’s All-American additionally thought of Southern California, LSU, Florida and Washington.
Edwards averaged 30 factors, 22 rebounds, 5 blocks and 4 assists per sport final season at Lincoln Excessive College in Tacoma, Wash.
